The Port Inn

The Port Inn is an eight unit motel situated in beautiful Port Sydney. There are many attractions nearby or on site which tourists and locals alike have enjoyed for generations.

Our large rooms are clean and comfortable. Each room is fitted with two double beds with new mattresses, table and chairs, satelite television, four piece bathrooms and individually controlled heat for each unit.

In the winter

Of course snowmobiling at The Port Inn has been a tradition for many people. Ideally located right on TOPS trail D in the heart of Muskoka, snowmobile trips can be made in any direction. Sled tours Around Algonquin Park begin here. If you are interested in doing a loop there is endless oportunity to explore. Let us, or one of our guests and your new friends give you some advice for your next adventure.

For snowmobilers it does not come more convenient than The Port Inn. There is plenty of truck and trailer parking with electrical outlets just outside your room. You can securely park your sled right at your door!There are two gas stations within 2km of your door step and The Pub and Bistro have regular hours for your enjoyment. We also have snowmobile rentals right on site!

In the summer

Port Sydney has become well known for it's beuatiful waterways, forests and culture. We are just a short drive to several parks including world famous Algonquin Provincial Park. You can drive only five minutes to public beaches, hose back riding facilities, several golf courses, hiking, cycling, artisans and much, much more. Enjoy a day on a rental pontoon boat and have diner in the Bistro or some laughs in the Pub and relax over night. Wether you come to Muskoka to do the craft tour, watch Port Sydneys famous Duck Race or just for a day of boating or fishing, we have a place for you to rest.

Weekly rentals

We are also able to provide temporary accomodation to people who are awaiting the closing date of a new cottage or home, or out-of-town workers. Please call for details.
